The theoretical foundations of the hardware implementation of neural-like growing networks are regarded in the paper. On the base of the given theorems and statements the most crucial relations of the full vectors given union relations of their sub-vectors are determined. As a consequence, the operations of construction and functioning of the neural-like network are determined. Extracting association rules based on intellectual stochastic search / A.O. Oliynik // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2015. – N 4. – P. 45 – 56.

The problem of automation of extracting quantitative association rules based on a set of observations is solved. The stochastic method to extracting quantitative association rules is proposed. It takes into account a priori information about the significance of the terms and features and uses a probabilistic approach for analysis of different combinations of antecedents and consequents of association rules. It was developed software implementing proposed method. The experiments with proposed method in practical problem solving were conducted as well. Таbl.: 1. Fig.: 1. Refs.: 14 titles.

On planning and determining the results of extreme miltifactor experiment on the basis of a rational number of experiments / V.I. Popadynets // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2015. – N 4. – P. 65 – 69.

A description of general algorithm of construction of planning multifactor experiment matrix is given in the paper. Besides, a description of general algorithm of response function construction that takes into consideration all possible effects of the factors interaction is given as well. The proposed algorithm of matrix construction provides the experimentor to choose a rational number of experiments and algorithm of response function construction allows searching the minimum and maximum values of the response function in definition of its area. Algorithms are focused on the creation of autonomous software module for solving various practical problems, primarily for complicated technological processes and are expedient  for using when the realization of the carried out experiments is very costly. Modified decoding algorithm of Log Map turbo codes taking into consideration jamming influence / S.V. Zaitsev // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2015. – N 4. – P. 70 – 79.

This paper proposes a modified decoding algorithm of Log Map turbo codes taking into consideration jamming influence from electronic countermeasure systems. The essence of this algorithm is the use of hybrid and linear approximation of the Jacobian logarithm decoding turbo codes and taking into account the approximation of additional information about the jamming parameters. Using the decoding algorithm in wireless systems operating in jamming conditions will improve the accuracy of the information transfer. Tabl.: 2. Figs.: 9. Refs.: 13 titles.

Measuring of physical quantities under unpredictable changing statistical conditions /
I.I. Gorban // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2015. – N 4. – P.
80 – 91.

It has been found that under essential violations of statistical stability, using of the classic determinately-random measurement model and based on it measurement techniques lead to unacceptable large errors. A technique for measuring of physical quantities under unpredictable changing statistical conditions is developed. The effectiveness of the new technique is demonstrated. Figs.: 7. Refs.: 4 titles.
