Multi-valued determinate variables and processes of the random and hyper-random types / I.I. Gorban // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 1. – P. 3 – 24.

The results concerning the mathematical analysis of multi-valued determinate variables and multi-valued deterministic processes are systematized, generalized, and developed. The earlier results concerned the mathematical analysis of multi-valued processes of the random type are generalized on the multi-valued processes of the hyper-random type. It is proposed to describe the multi-valued processes by differential equations. Figs.: 5. Refs.: 16 titles.

Alternatives of the organisation with PLIS application of resources of collection and pre-processing of data providing rise of productivity of technological systems with application of various interfaces and various sets and types of the PLIS are observed. The conceptual rules of hardware support of fragments of algorithm (subroutines) by means of knots and the blocks realised on the PLIS are offered. The variant of the block diagram of technological system with use of PCI Express and sets of gauges of the data which pre-processing is carried out on set connected by means of cables PLIS through corresponding adapters is offered. Intrusion Prevention within a SDN-environment / J.N. Davies, P. Comerford,
M.V. Verovko,
I.S. Skiter, I.S. Posadska  // Mathematical Machines and Systems. 2017. – N 1. P. 39 – 48.

Recent investigations have highlighted the complexity and interrelationship between components of the infrastructure of the internet. In an attempt to simplify the management of the infrastructure a great deal of research has taken place in the area of Software Defined Networks (SDN). This paper investigates the perceived developments in the network infrastructure and how they can be accommodated with a SDN environment. In particular the deployment of Intrusion prevention, a well-known function found in most computer networks, is investigated. A hardware design is offered as a solution and it is shown how this can be integrated into a SDN. Figs.: 3. Refs.: 24 titles.

To dictionary situational management / O.V. Malyshev // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 1. – P. 49 – 60.

Review of cases of situational management, in particular, scientific publications, information on the practical application, etc., leads to the conclusion that the phenomenon of situational management requires regular systematic review. The attempt of such a review is done in this paper, taking into account many factors. The result of the consideration issued in the form of a set of related terms that may be used in a given subject area. Таbl.: 3. Refs.: 19 titles.

Modeling radioactive accumulation of 90Sr in marine organisms / R.V. Bezhenar // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 1. – P. 61 – 70.

The box model Poseidon was applied to the Northwestern Pacific to estimate the contamination of marine organisms by radioactive 90Sr, which enters the marine environment due to the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear accident on the 11th of March 2011. The estimation of the impact of discharged radionuclide was done for activity concentration in the water, bottom sediments and marine organisms in comparison with background values, which were formed in the region during past century as a result of nuclear weapon tests. A dynamical model for transfer of radionuclides through the food-chain that includes phytoplankton, zooplankton, non-piscivorous (forage) and piscivorous (predatory) fish, mollusks, crustaceans and macro-algae was used for calculation of 90Sr concentration in marine organisms. A new approach for prediction of radionuclide accumulation in fish taking into account the contribution of different tissues in the total concentration was developed. It is shown that two tissues: bone and flesh, are the most important when accumulation of 90Sr in fish is considered. Results of the simulations for water, bottom sediments and piscivorous fish are in good agreement with measurements in the area 4x4 km around Fukushima Dai-ichi NPP in the case when the discharge of  90Sr equal to 4% from the 137Cs discharge. Problematic aspects of population processes modeling and criteria for their approval / T.Yu. Borisova, A.Yu. Perevarukha, I.V. Solovyova // Mathematical Machines and Systems. 2017. – N 1. P. 71 – 81.

By the example of comparing the actual situations with the possible modes of behavior of known population models according to observational data it was identified a number of inconsistencies that cannot be removed by a simple redefinition of the parameters. The origin of cycles of periods 2 degree at doubling bifurcation involves a fundamentally different points of the tab order than the pronounced cycles of Arctic populations. We observed flashes of aperiodical dynamics of insect pests differs from the well-known scenario of chaos, which in addition to Cantor attractor involves a number of additional properties in the motion path that is difficult to interpret in biology. It is proposed to carry out the implementation of the price explainable nonlinear effects with the use of trigger functional for achieving the quality conformability. Accounting for seemingly minor factor, which is expressed in an additional point of inflection reproduction can lead to other conclusions about the properties of population dynamics. Analysis of catch statistics for the models must take into account the presence of subpopulation groups. Influence of reproductive isolation of local groups is discussed on the example of these spawning odd / even flocks of pink salmon populations and for the Caspian Sea russian and persian sturgeon Acipenser persicus. Transport and communication problem for unmanned vehicles groups / V.Yu. Korolev, M.I. Ogurtsov // Mathematical Machines and Systems. 2017. N 1. – P. 82 – 89.

The paper describes decentralized control of networked unmanned vehicles groups (UV) and this control is based on solution of transport and communication problem (TCP). Substantial production of TCP for UV group, which are moving part of the way autonomously is discussed. The peculiarity of the TCP solution for UV group is a need for solving joint problem – finding the ways to build traffic routes and task routing of data packets in the network. It is shown that TCP is reduced to the classical problem of routing vehicles. The algorithm solution TCP of UV group is presented. Figs.: 4. Refs.: 12 titles.

The approach to errors minimization under computer simulation / O.O. Kryazhych, V.Stekhel // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 1. – P. 97 – 105.

The article discusses the approach to errors minimization under computer simulation of the probabilistic contamination theory under calculating mathematical functions by using the “Random point” program. Decomposition of functions on the residuals is suggested to apply. The feasibility of using approximation by applying the model error is proved. This will allow you to perform the calculations with variable accuracy under minimization downtime. This approach will expand the capabilities of the analytical module of the “Random point” program. In the case of the creation of such a module this program can be used in environmental review, the analysis of the causes and consequences of industrial accidents, predict the spreading of the pollution is of local nature, in agroecology, in the planning of construction sites taking into account the environmental condition of the territory, in the evaluation of the radiation danger and to determine the quality of the recreational areas and recreation.
