Advanced Air and Missile Defense under Spatial Grasp Technology / P.S. Sapaty // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 3. – P. 48 – 64.
A novel control ideology and technology for solving tasks in large distributed networked systems will be briefed. Based on active scenarios self-navigating and self-matching distributed spaces in a highly organized super-virus mode, it can effectively establish global control over large systems of any natures. The technology can use numerous scattered and dissimilar facilities in an integral and holistic way, allowing them to work together in goal-driven supercomputer mode. The approach can be useful for advanced air and missile defense in a variety of ways, some of which described and explained in this paper. The related material has been accepted for presentation at The 12th 3AF Integrated Air and Missile Defence international conference, June 27–29, Stockholm, Sweden, http://3af-integratedairmissiledefence.com. Information technology for the synthesis of wireless data transmission models based on adaptive coding / B.V. Gorlinsky // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 3. – P. 74 – 81.
The article proposes information technology for the synthesis of wireless data transmission models based on the use of adaptive information coding with different noise-proof codes: block Hamming codes, BCH codes and multicomponent turbo codes. The use of different noise-immune codes, from simpler to more complex ones, depending on the signal-to-noise ratio in the channel, leads to simplification of the synthetic variants of wireless data transmission models, especially under conditions of non-stationary pre-intentional interference. Mathematical modeling and prediction of radioactive contaminants spread in the near-surface layers of saturated soils / O.Yu. Chernukha, V.E. Goncharuk, Yu.I. Bilushchak, A.E. Chuchvara // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 3. – P. 82 – 101.
Mathematical models of contaminant migration in soils taking into account two ways for particle transport with different diffusion coefficients, namely, in water porous solution and adsorbed water layers on ground skeleton, as well as the processes of sorption-desorption under action of contamination on soil surface are proposed. The initial-boundary value problem of heterodiffusion by two ways in a medium with traps is formulated in one- (vertical) and two-dimensional (from circular source) statements in rectangular and cylindric coordinates. Practically important partial variants of the model are considered on the basis of physical assumptions in regard to the model coefficients and instantaneous redistribution of admixture particles between states. Solutions of the model problems are constructed by integral transformations. It is designed software and comparative analysis is carried out. It is shown that different ways of admixture particle migration have to be taken into consideration as well as mass exchange between states, i.e. the processes of sorpsion-desorption. Figs.: 4. Statistical stability – a mathematical regularity or a physical phenomenon? / I.I. Gorban // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 3. – P. 102 – 110.
Mathematical and physical interpretations of statistical stability of mass phenomena are analyzed. It is compared the features of the mathematical probability theory interpreting the statistical stability as a manifestation of the mathematical law of large numbers and the physical-mathematical theory of hyper-random phenomena considering the statistical stability as a physical phenomenon. Attention is focused on the necessity of a detailed study of the physical properties of the statistical stability phenomenon and the development of physical-mathematical and applied theories that take into account its features. Chamber model of the Black Sea and its integration into European Decision Support System for nuclear emergency response RODOS / R.V. Bezhenar, V.S. Maderich,
Ye.O. Ievdin, O.V. Boyko, S.L. Kіvva // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N3. – P. 111 – 119.
The box model POSEIDON-R was integrated into European Decision Support System for nuclear emergency response RODOS. The software interfaces were developed for the automatic transfer of atmospheric fallout on the sea surface, calculated by Atmospheric Dispersion Module, as well as flux of radionuclides with river waters, calculated by RIVTOX model, into the POSEIDON-R model inside the RODOS system. The new detailed box system for the Black Sea was created for the POSEIDON-R model. The linkage of models that describes atmospheric dispersion of radioactive 90Sr and its deposition on the land, washout from the Danube watershed, transport of radionuclide through the river into the sea, and long-term contamination of marine environment of the Black Sea was realized for the stress test scenario of the atmospheric release from the Chernovoda NPP (Romania).Таbl.: 1. Model of extreme scenarios of population dynamics with a factor of non-optimal individual growth rate / A.Yu. Perevarukha // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 3. – P. 120 – 132.
Our analysis of situations of biological invasions and collapses of reserves has shown that the state of the population in the regime of extreme population dynamics is characterized by a number of important nonlinear features. The types of extreme dynamics include the rapid development of an outbreak of insects or the presence of a small local group after irrational fishing. The mechanisms of regulation and the further evolution of such special states contradict the classical models of mathematical ecology, including the constant parameters of the reproductive potential and the capacity of the ecological niche. To extend the range of models, we propose to consider the growth rate of individuals, which can be disturbed in the rare and specific situations that interest us. The author proposes a new method for supplementing the equation of the decrease in the number of generations over a fixed time interval of the dynamic functional component that will reflect the effect of the deviation of the rate of development of organisms from the optimum value. We will calculate the optimal growth rate from the selected balance ratio for anabolism and catabolism. The new model demonstrates a difficultly predictable replacement of two alternative simple cycles, any of which can be reduced suddenly with a slight change in the characteristics of the ecological process. Ensuring the reliability of automated systems of processing information and controlling unmanned aerial vehicles / G.M. Gulak, P.M. Skladannyi // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 3. – P. 154 – 161.
A detailed analysis of the reliability of automated systems of processing information and controlling unmanned aerial vehicles was carried out; the relevance of use and protection issues is disclosed in this paper. The actual directions of researches, concerning safety of radio systems of control and UAV data were determined. A cipher of multi-alphabetical substitutions on the basis of the algorithm for generating replacement substitutions on the basis of gamma, which is obtained by block encryption, as well as a cryptographic circuit, that includes the control unit (detection of attacks) on the cryptographic tool information protection were proposed in the paper. The relative estimation of the efficiency of the radio link protection systems of the UAV was proposed. This gives an opportunity to estimate the appropriateness of one or other design solutions for security. Таbl.: 2. Fig.: 1. Refs.: 13 titles.
