The main approaches to the construction of mathematical models for automated control systems of process procedure of rolling stands were regarded. There were given mathematical models of energy-force parameters that were applied in the automated control systems of drafting schedules on domestic rolling stands. These models provided the necessary accuracy of the geometric sheet sizes realization under automatic control. Tabl.: 1. Refs.: 7 titles.

Radar detection of navigational objects along the vessel's path through the polarization parameters of an electromagnetic wave / V.G. Putyatin, S.Yu. Gudenko, S.I. Zaichko,
D.V. Korban, O.I. Knyaz // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 4. – P. 120 – 128.
The article considers the radio physical model of the reflective properties of the object navigation and meteorological formations, allowing navigation radar detection of an object in the presence of airborne moisture targets on the polarization differences of the reflected signals from a navigation object and meteorological formations. It is given a functional scheme of the radar layout that implements the process of radar recognition by separating from a received signal of an electromagnetic wave of circular polarization reflected from the navigation object and the electromagnetic wave of elliptic polarization of the reflected from meteorological object. Radar signals reflected from navigation and meteorological objects parameterized with a valid energy of the Stokes parameters, which allowed simplifying the processing system. The presented radar model and functional scheme of the radar allowed fully taking into account the influence of environmental factors on the process of radar detection of navigational objects. Two-criteria combinatorial model of optimization of telecommunication networks /
O.S. Pichugina, L.M. Kolechkina // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 4. – P. 129 – 144.
A mathematical model of application problem of determining a speed and a quality of the information transmission through telecommunication networks is presented in the form of a multiobjective Euclidean combinatorial optimization problem. It is a two-objective quadratic constrained model over a compositional image of the general set of permutation and the Boolean set. Approaches to the problem solution such as the branch and bound method, cutting method, graph methods such as the directed structuring and the polyhedral-surface methods are suggested. The convex extensions method is applied to the transformation of the model into the convex Euclidean combinatorial optimization problem. Thus the applicability of polyhedral-spherical optimization methods to solving the problem is demonstraited. Refs.: 25 titles.

Mathematical model and method for solving the generalized Neumann problem of heat exchange of an isotropic rotation body, which rotates / M.G. Berdnyk // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 4. – P. 145 – 150.
It was developed a mathematical model of temperature distributions in an isotropic rotation body is developed with a known equation of the generating line, which is bounded by two ends and a lateral surface of revolution which rotates at a constant angular velocity around the OZ axis, taking into account the finite velocity of heat propagation, in the form of the Neumann boundary value problem of mathematical physics for the hyperbolic heat conduction equation. A new integral transformation is developed with the help of which the temperature field of the body is found in the form of convergent orthogonal series with respect to the Fourier functions. New language of block simulation modeling which allows including blocks obtained with a help of using inductive simulation both functions and automata transducers into the general scheme of the simulation are discussed in the paper. The proposed simulation language allows combining in the single model inductive and deductive approaches to creating simulation models. Two fold architecture of the proposed language allows separating the management level from data transformation level and it cannot be obtained with using aggregate approach. Figs.: 15. Will intelligent robots destroy the human race? / V.O. Yaschenko // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2017. – N 4. – P. 169 – 179.
The article deals with the question of possibility of human race destruction by intelligent robots. The possibility of remote introduction into the unconscious state of intelligent robots is shown, the electronic brain of which will be created on the basis of neural-like growing networks. Just as the human brain, studying itself, cannot understand how it functions. And the electronic brain of the robot will face with the difficulties of knowing itself. While its creator – a person, knowing his device, will be able to control his actions and, if necessary, introduce into a passive state. Figs.: 13. Refs.: 16 titles.
